First Reading ~ Matthew 21:1-11
Second Reading ~ an ancient fable

Rev. Emma Chattin & Rev. Lori McPherson Preaching

New Beginnings
For the disciples and followers, their whole world had come apart, everything rearranged. Some of them angry, some lost, some in denial, some disillusioned. All different.
All they could do was pick up the pieces and somehow try to move on.
They can’t go back to who they were, and they don’t yet know who they are.
All that remains… is to do a new thing… and begin again.

Everyone wanted to know who Jesus was as he was riding into Jerusalem.
Yet.. who are YOU on Palm Sunday? Are you a Looky Loo?
Are you a palm branch waver?
Is Jesus someone you want to use to fulfill your political aims and views?
Just who are YOU in the crowd?
