MCC NoVA 2023 Stewardship Campaign
If you believe in the existence of affirming churches and denominations,
and that they serve as an essential counterpoint to less affirming voices,
then supporting their existence is necessary for their future.
This Church is YOUR church.
MCC of Northern Virginia begins its Pledge Campaign this Sunday, October 16.
You are asked to prayerfully consider making a Pledge toward your Church’s
operation and mission for 2023. Your Pledge is just that:
a hopeful estimate of what you believe
you may be able to contribute next year.
It’s a forecast, and like any forecast,
you can change it at any point
based on time and circumstance.
Your participation in this process is essential and will enable your Church to plan accordingly in preparing a budget for next year.
MCC NoVA’s Mission is to continue outreach and ministry to marginalized communities,
and to be an LGBTIQQA+ Community Center in the Heart of Fairfax City.

Sometimes, it looks like this
This past Sunday, October 2, Fairfax County Public School Pride needed a place to hold their gathering since rain knocked them out of the park. So the Metropolitan Community Church of Northern Virginia said… “Come on over community! That’s why we’re here!” The organizer was expecting 25. At least 80 people showed up ~ including Dr. Michelle Reid, FCPS Superintendent. It was a good day, and people needed people ~ especially given all that is happening with LGBTIQA+ staff and students in Virginia schools.
