Rev. Lori McPherson, Preaching: “Gratitude”

So many things consume us these days: anger, anxiety, worry, resentment…
It is so easy to be vexed by the corrupt!
We may think it is the time in which we live.
However, this is not a new thing.

MCC NoVA celebrated its 41th Anniversary Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022!

Celebrating 54 years of Metropolitan Community Churches Worldwide! (Oct 6th)
Sunday morning worship … Join Us ONLINE or IN-PERSON at 11AM on Sunday Morning!

THANK YOU!
Thank you for your generosity in response to the recent letter regarding church finances and the church’s financial needs. Several people made wonderful one time donations, and others increased their monthly giving. All are greatly appreciated!
MCC NoVA is very grateful for your generosity as we enter the
last quarter of 2022!

In Person Worship
We look forward to worshipping with you!
Enhanced airflow and filtration are provided.
There is physical distancing. Masks are required.
We also request that folks be fully vaccinated and boosted.
While all reasonable safeguards are taken, there will always be some measure of risk,
and each person needs to make their own determination as to what is most comfortable for them.

Community Looks Like THIS
Sometimes, it looks like this
This past Sunday, October 2, Fairfax County Public School Pride needed a place to hold their gathering since rain knocked them out of the park. So the Metropolitan Community Church of Northern Virginia said… “Come on over community! That’s why we’re here!” The organizer was expecting 25. At least 80 people showed up ~ including Dr. Michelle Reid, FCPS Superintendent. It was a good day, and people needed people ~ especially given all that is happening with LGBTIQA+ staff and students in Virginia schools.
This is a part of our mission!

MCC NoVA Stewardship
MCC NoVA’s vision for the future is to continue outreach and ministry to marginalized communities,
and to become an LGBTIQA+ Community Center in the Heart of Fairfax City!
Help us to make these real in 2022 and 2023! This is a link for receiving on-line giving.
You may also mail a check directly to the church office:

We are grateful for your continued generosity as we move forward into the future- a future with deep needs, and boundless possibilities for our community!
Blessings and Thank You!
